I had severe cough for 1 year, initially dry then got worse. I consulted several doctors and they recommended inhaler beacuse I was experiencing breathing problems along with severe cough. But the cough continued unabated for 2 years. Recently I consulted one chest physiologist & after taking his medicines I got releief finally. He gave me Clavam antibiotic, one cough syrup and odimont LC tabs & also esiflo inhaler. I have completed the atibiotic course and currently only taking odimont LC tabs and inhaler. But whenever I stop taking odimont the cough returns slightly. Is the treatmen t ging right? When wil my cough get cured completely?
You have got the right medicines. You seem to have allergic symptoms combined with a mild form of asthma. You need to undergo allergic skin prick test to identify the allergen. Generally the common allergens include pollen, dust mite at home and certain food stuffs. Try visiting an allergy clinic.
