Blood When Scratched By Dog's Nail. Antibacterial Soap Used, Antibiotic Cream Applied. Tetanus Shot Necessary?

I recently got scratched by my dogs toe nail which drew a little blood whilst at the vets. The vet washed the wound in antibacterial soap and applied antibiotic cream and a band aid. My dog is up to date on shots. I had a tetanus booster 5 and a half years ago, should i see my Dr for a tetanus shot or just continue to clean the area and keep a band aid on it?

Hello,

You had a scratch for the dogs toe nail. The dog is your pet and luckily it is vaccinated up to date.
You had blood at the spot and received first aid.
The dog is vaccinated, so no need to panic. But keep it under observation.
A booster of TT will give protection from 3 to 5 years.
It is advisable to go for another booster of TT.
