This morning, I rubbed my itchy eye too hard with knuckle and heard a soft sound. Few minutes later I realized something was in my eye in the outer corner. It was like a blood blister coming out between eye & eye lid. I put cold compresses on it most of day and blister subsided. When I went to bed, within a couple of hours I felt the blood blister return in the outer corner, so I decided to recline on the couch with pillow to keep my head elevated and used cold wash cloth on eye again. The blister is still showing above my lower eyelid. What else should I do?
