Baby Had Measles Vaccination. Have Loose Motions, Is Cranky. What Is The Doseage Of Ofloxacin, Lactic Acid?

My baby is 10 months old. 8.48kg. She had her measels vaccination on 25.05.13. i gave her crocin drops approx 1ml the nex evening and later at night. after which she has loose motions the next day. And from past 4 days stopped her normal semi solid food and also is cranky. In what dosage should i give her ofloxacin and metronidazole suspension along with saccharomyes boulardii, lactic acid bacillus sachets.

Hi dear,
Your child appears to have some concurrent tummy infection. One should think of giving paracetamol syrup six hourly or SOS. And ORS in continuous sips according to losses of fluids through stools. Ideally one should go for the stool culture and sensitivity to know the bug. If culture not possible one can go for ofloxacin syrup 10 mg/kg per day.
