Are Warm Compresses Advisable On The Eyelid Post A Cataract Surgery?

I had cateract surger in my right eye 3 weeks ago. Everything went well. Now I noticed my eyelid droops a little. No pain or redness or visible sty. Doc said to use warm compresses for 20 min 3 times a day. If there is no sty, will the warm compresses cause any harm?
