Are Synthoid And Zolcor The Right Medication For Hypothyroidism And High Cholesterol ?

My doctor just diagnosed me with hypothyroidism with high chloreterol. My T-4 was .8 and my cholesterol was 160. I am a 59 year old female. Last year the same tests read 3.2 and 106. She placed my on synthoid and zolcor. Does this sound right? I m not even sure that my chloresterol is all that high. I am recuperating from spinal stenosis surgery and am being treated for a peptic ulcer . Tara
