Hallow Dear, You should have mentioned for how many days you have missed your period. Anyway, your pregnancy test is positive; so you are pregnant. However, the result of pregnancy test is weak positive. Weak positive results are found if the test is performed too early, if there is ectopic pregnancy or if the test is done within few days of missed abortion. Ectopic pregnancy is a condition in which the pregnancy is implanted somewhere outside the uterine cavity - most commonly the tube. Such pregnancy does not grow and eventually ruptures. It creates haemorrhagic emergency which requires emergency surgical intervention with many units of blood transfusion. Ultrasonography can find the evidence of missed abortion. This is a condition in which the baby is non-viable and still retained in the uterine cavity. It needs evacuation of the uterus.
