Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concern. PCOD or polycystic ovarian disease is a clinical condition which is characterized by hormone imbalance, absent or infrequent ovulation, varied menstrual pattern and multiple follicles in the ovaries at different stages of development simultaneously. The management, therefore, should be a multi-pronged one. I would suggest a complete evaluation, hormone profile that includes FSH, LH, serum estrogen, progesterone, DHEAS levels, serum Prolactin and insulin. Appropriate hormone replacement can then be done. Taking a single dose of Diane is not going to help. Also, please keep your weight in check and get regular exercise. Hope this helps.
