Any Suggestion For Itchy, Red, Painful Eyes And Eyelids After Using Simbrinza?

The Cosopt I have been on for the last year to treat my glaucoma has been causing my hair to thin and tingling in my hands. My doctor switched my medicine to Simbrinza. After two days of using Simbrinza, my eyes are itching so bad I could scratch them out. Because it is the weekend I will not be able to contact my doctor until Monday. I discontinued use today and purchased eye drops for itchy eyes and an ointment to put in my eyes at bedtime. Should I do anything else? My eyes itch really bad, they are red, and my eyelids hurt.

Hello
It seems form the history that after using simbrinza eye drops you are having itchy red and painful eyes.
Simbrinza eye drops can lead to these symptoms but do rule out allergic conjunctivitis. The treatment you have started in the form of antiallergic eye drops is fine, the next thing to be done is to start other alternative drops for treatment of glaucoma after consultation with your doctor to prevent progression of glaucoma.

Thank you
