dear doctor on 3.10.2012 i went to see doctor becoz i am having a white discharged, after examined by the doctor he told me i have fungus and cervical erosion and i ask him wat is that he told me
yr surface of veginal got yellowish colour.and he give 3 abothyl to be insert. can it be cancer.

Pelvic infection can present with vaginal discharge and cervical erosion sometimes. Depending on the causative organism the color of the vaginal discharge can change.
Cervical erosion can develop due to pelvic infection and may not always due to malignancy.
So you please continue the treatment given by your doctor, after completion of the treatment go for a pap smear test and if needed a cervical biopsy with your doctor's advice.
With this work up the possible cause of the erosion can be identified and malignancy can be ruled out. Depending on the staging of the cervical lesion further treatment can be planned.
