Advise Precautionary Steps For Having Twins
I am 32 weeks GA with twins and my obst.has advised me betnesol injections which are to be repeated every week till I cross 36 weeks or deliver .I also have ahistory of pregnancy loss due to pre term labour .Kindly advise whether this is the correct line of management.

It is better to take betnesol injection 2 injection at 24 hr gap and repeat monthly till 36 weeks.. There is no need to take this injection weekly.. This is to enhance fetal lung maturity so that in that case of preterm labour, there wont be any problem to the fetus.. If the baby's growth is good and fluid adequate, depending on position of head, normal delivery or ceassarian can be planned.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
