Ache In Bone Behind Ear, Dull, Persistent Pain In Forehead And Temple. Diagnosed UTI, On Antibiotics. Advice

Hi there. I have had an ache on the bone behind my left ear for several days now. This started Sunday and I went to the doctor Tuesday to have a physical and the doctor said I have a urinary tract infection so i took those antibiotics (i didnt have any symptoms). I also have a dull achy headache on my forehead and temple area that wont seem to go away. Any idea what this could be?

Hi,

Pain in the head could be a secondary symptom of the fever caused by urinary tract infection. Its better for you to examined by a ENT specialist to rule out Mastoiditis which can present the same way.

Regards,
