Abdominal Cramping, Lower Back Pain, Passed Clump Of Thick And White Tissue. Stopped Birth Pill. Suggestions?
I have been on continued use birth control for seven months, and stopped taking it a few days ago to try and stop some breakthrough bleeding I was having. This morning I started having excruciating abdominal cramping and lower back pain. Then this night, I passed a large clump of thick white and red tissue that looked sort of like a deflated balloon. Is this something to be concerned about?
Hello & thanks for posting a Q on HCM
It depends on type of pill you had taken & also depends on when was the last period you had & whether you had missed any pills while taking - was the pill pack finished & stopped OR you stopped it half way through
to get a more clear answer you must take home urine pregnancy test as one must rule out any complication of possible pregnancy ( miscarraige)
If the test is negative - other reason why you would get the symptoms that are described is related to pelvic infection
Hope you get well soon
