85 Year Old Diagnosed With Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma, Beginning To Attack Kidneys, Chemo By Injection Weekly. Life Expectancy ?

My 85 year old mother was diagnosed with stage 3 multiple Myeloma in 2009. She has done well while regularly being monitored by her doctor. Today, at my mother s regular exame Her doctor informed my sister that the cancer is beginning to attack her kidneys. Chemo by injection once weekly. What kind of life expectancy is typical at this point for someone of her age?
