Cataract , irrespective of the cause, is managed by surgical intervention that is cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation. The various techniques which are used to remove the cataract lens includes small incision cataract surgery, phacoemulsification. or the recent flacs. There are various of types of intraocular lenses which can be implanted. So there is no relation between multiple myeloma and the progression or management of cataract but radiation given for the same may accelerate the progression of cataract.
