63 years old gets vomiting when sitting or standing. What is causing this ?

My father feels like vomiting when sitting or standing , he is fine when he is lying down. His BP: 132,82 His Age :63 Pulse Rate: 65 He s Diabetic, his sugar level is in control.

May be your Father is suffering from Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) Does he have Dizziness associated with vomiting?
Kindly get him evaluated by a ENT Specialist.
