hi;

Asthma is a clinical diagnosis and treatment depends on the severity of the disease i.e number of episode in a certain period.There are 4 grade of childhood asthma.But For the 1st episode use of Montilukast is not recomended as over treatment (common in our country) is not improve the future course of the disease.

thanks.

It appears to be an allergic respiratory illness. Keep the bedroom dust free, especially beddings and pillow. As the child grows, this will go off. Ask your doctor whether Bresol syrup can be given to your child.

Hi,
I myself being parent and having faced similar situation,understand your concern.
For many children who have asthma before age 3, there is a good chance asthmatic symptoms go away in the next few years. This is particularly true for children who have no family history of allergy or asthma and who started wheezing because of an infection.
While in some others ,it doesn't go.
What is important is management and precautions.
See if he is wheezing, waking up at night or having difficulty breathing.
