I am 26 weeks pregnant with triplets and today I have been very weak to the point that I have slept all day up until 3 p.m. I woke up this morning and had a hot flash , something I have never had before at least not to the point that my clothes were wet with sweat and I couldn t breathe and felt like I was going to pass out?

Hi,
Thanks for your query,
Hotflushes occur due to fluctuations in hormone levels, particularly drops in estrogen. In triplet pregnancy the harmonal changes are more , thats why you are having these symptoms.
Generally, hot flashes are more common in the second and third trimester.
Hot flashes that come and go are perfectly normal. Precautions which you can take are avoiding spicy food, caffeine, alcohol, smoking , very hot environments and do relaxation and mild exercise like walking may be helpful.
Take care..
Hope it helps you..
