Hot flashes is a very common menopausal symptoms. Which could occur much before starting of menopause.
Non medical treatment i would recommend is eating at least 50 gms of soya beans (any form) everyday. It has estrogenic effect. This helps because hot flashes is caused by less estrogen in body.
Another treatment modalities includes HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and antidepressants.
