15 Year Old, Having Periods 3 Times In This Month. What Could Be Wrong?

I am 15 years old. I have had my period 3 times this month. The first was on the 7th of July. The next was on the 26th of July (It finished on the 1st of August). And I started my period today, the 2nd of August. Do you know what caused it e.g. stress/heat? Or do you think there may be something wrong and I should go and visit a doctor?

hi there.

Thank you for your query.

There are many reasons that cause changes in the menstrual cycle. They may be hormonal, psychological, stress induced or pathological (due to some definite disease). But the exact cause is very important to be determined and early diagnosis of any disease (if any) is very helpful and has good prognosis. Please consult a gynecologist.

Thanks
