15 Weeks Old, Born With Gastroschisis, Ammonia Smell From Stools, Yellow Stools. Causes?

my son is 15 weeks old and was born with gastroschisis . he had op and healed well but his poo started smelling like ammonia or vinegar yesterday. it is yellow and soft. he hasnt shown signs of feeling unwell and is happy and content. should i be worried? i read that it could be a fistula, teething (he started dribbling so i think he is) or dehydration.

Pediatrician, Critical Care 's  Response
It is very difficult to pinpoint exact cause without examining him. I don't think it could be anything serious, as he is happy and content.

Please get him checked over by your surgeon to rule out fistula (although it seems unlikely).
