Brief answer..Take rest and have plenty of water and fruit juices since your bilirubin levels are slightly high
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Gilbert's syndrome is a harmless genetic condition where an enzyme responsible for disposal of bilirubin from body,is abnormal. This results in elevation of bilirubin levels in blood and this elevation particularly happens after starvation, dehydration or consuming alchol.
People with XXXXXXX syndrome are generally normal, have no sign and symptom and are healthy with normal life span.
In general no treatment is required for majority of patients since there are no associated health problems.
In case bilirubin is high, one can take rest, drink plenty of fluids like water and fruit juices, avoid fatty foods and eat healthy diet. No particular medicine is needed.
To avoid future attacks of jaundice....
Avoid dieting and dehydration
Avoid alcohol
Avoid extremes of emotional stress
avoid heavy physical exercises and exertion
Avoid sleep deprived days.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luckĀ
Thanks
