Question: I recently had a brain mri without contrast. It came back normal. I have been terrified that I have a brain tumor. My question is, would a brain tumor show up on an mri without contrast?

I am so sorry to hear about this disturbing thought. However, with a normal MRI, you are fine. MRI without contrast is good enough to highlight masses if there is any. Its normal report is very reassuring and there is little to worry about any more.
