Question: Hi i took a rapid antibody (insti hiv1&2) in XXXXXXX 2013 after a risk in the january 2013 negative . In 2009-10 i was taking winstrol (stanazonol) anabolic steroids would this affect a hiv test two years later. I have read that it would not but would like to check . I stopped taking them october 2010 .

Thank you doctor . I have a habit of thinking any symptom i have or my partner ever have is sonehow linked to hiv symptoms even though i have tested negative twice now. I may have to speak to a doctor for pychological treatment . I try to pick holes in every thing ie tests timings ailments quality of tests ect , i know it may sound triviol but it helps to speak to a expert who can calm and speak sense . My mind is going in 5th gear most days and can google symptoms all day which is straining and makes me depressed and down.

Final question during this encounter i developed symtoms of a sti frequent urination ect so i went to the gum clinic and got examined and did a urine test for clymidia and gonareaha after the doctor suspected it due to threads in my urine . The test came back negative for the above mentioned. I went to the doctors and they said i had a water infection and i took antibiotics for . I have read on the internet about a sti called trichinonisis . I havent really had any symptoms but am concerend about this after reading . Woukd the gp gum clinic of been able to suspect this when they examined my penis . As i say it was in 2013 and havent had any symptoms since . It was because i read water infections are not common and this got me worried also . I have read it is not a common sti but my paranoid head is in overdrive again thanks .
