Brief Answer:
around 19 years of age

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for consulting HCM.

The width of jaw stops growing between 2-4 years of age, the forward growth of the Maxilla (upper jaw) stops at approximately 9 years of age, while the Mandible (lower jaw) can continue to grow forward until age 16 in females and 19 in males. The final growth is the vertical growth, in females continuing until approximately age 16 and in males 19.

this factor helps a lot in orthodontic treatments.

if you have any other queries regarding jaw growth or orthodontic treatment feel free to ask.

Regards
Dr. Shesh
