Brief Answer:
Depends upon extent if infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

If you have genital candidiasis then creams are applied topically directly onto the affected area, usually once a day for three to seven days. The oral dose of ketoconazole in adults is 200 to 400 mg daily, taken for two to four weeks depending upon extent of lesion.

I was taking fluconazole and it started to clear but I think I took to much and the infection was killed off to fast and came back as a bounce back effect. Is that normal when taking 200mg of fluconazole ever 2 for a week?

Hi
Wellcome back.

The yeast infection can relapse. So I suggest that you must prolong your treatment with your doses. Get evaluation done periodically.
