Brief Answer:
What are the pregnancy symptoms you are having?

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX,

1) Duphaston is a artificial progesterone which has many uses. Some gynecologist prefer it for regulating periods during pcos.

The reason it was given it to you was to induce periods which you have missed.

I will advise you to take it to regularize your periods.

2) You are not pregnant. The reason of your missed periods is most likely PCOS but if you still want to confirm then get a ultrasound and blood HCG test repeated right now.

If its negative for pregnancy then you can start duphaston for sure.

What are the pregnancy symptoms you are having?

Brief Answer:
Go for IVF

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXX,

The symptoms you are having are not specific for pregnancy. You might be having vaginal infection and that can be cause of many of your symptoms.

If your husband has subfertile semen and you have PCOS then it is very difficult for you to conceive naturally.

I will advise you to go for IVF.

Dr Som MD

Success rate of ivf in my case ??
And how much money required for ivf in XXXXXXX XXXXXXX .

Brief Answer:
MAXIMUM 30%

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Success rate of IVF in your case is MAXIMUM 30%. This is when you are getting it done in a good setup.

Anybody promising more success rate is lying ( as even in the best setup of united states i have seen this as the highest rate)

IVF nowadays cost 1 lakh above per cycle. There are a few centres which give budget IVF (~ 60000 rupees) but i cannot assure quality control there.

This is regarding XXXXXXX (and other suburbrs around mumbai), Maharastra.

Brief Answer:
IVF is best option

Detailed Answer:
Dear,

First, i apologise for delayed reply as i was travelling abroad.

The best medicine for UTI is norfloxacin 500mg twice a day for 5 days.

But i will advise you to get a urine culture done before that to be specific.

DHEA does increase ovarian reserve but not consistently.

IVF is the best option at this point, not the only option. But chances by other options are far less than even 30%.
