Question: Hi Doctor, i need urgent help. My father's Eosinohil count is 34% and Lymphocytes is 8%. Can you help ke. He had recently undergone angioplasty and having skin
eosinophills can also be raised during some skin allergy or it could be due to angioplasty but no need to worry.

Welcome again,
Since your father has undergone angioplasty recently, it seems that raised eosinophills are related to it.
As i said earlier, eosinophils are increased in conditions of allergy.
It could possibly be that the dead tissue (a part of heart musculature which remains lack of blood supply due to coronary blockage and for which angioplasty has been done) by themselves could have caused an allergic response thereby increasing eosinophil count.
One more possibility could be that the material used in angioplasty could have triggered the allergic response.
However, it is slightly uncommon because all these materials are immunologically inert.
These transitional increase in eosinophil count should subside on its own within few months but it is highly unlikely due to cancer. So no need to worry about it.
As long as your father's general health is improving you need not worry.
And ensure that your father takes all the prescribed medications post angioplasty.
