Brief Answer:
A suspicious nodule.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thank you for asking!

Regarding your question, I would say that follicular lesions are considered a grey area (a result that does not define properly whether it is a benign or malignant lesion), so it can not be diagnosed properly from the material sent. Or better said a suspicious lesion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if your having any further queries.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta

Brief Answer:
There is no medication for it, but surgical option is there..

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Unfortunately there is no medication for it.
In my practice, in these cases, I do suggest for thyroid removal by surgery.
You should talk to your treating physician about it.

Kind Regards,
Dr.Mirjeta

I will let him know that I am going to take a couple of months to see what happens and have him keep a check on, I just move from NY to a small town in the south and these are not the best doctors, I just hate that they can't give a complete answer, to tell someone there is a possibility something is not a reassuring answer. so I will just watch it for a couple of months, I don't have system that goes with this, so I will watch and pray. I don't think it is something I have to rush into, what do you think.

Brief Answer:
It is not considered emergency.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back!
I can understand your difficult situation.
Well, i wouldn't say it is an emergency but at the same time i wouln't recommend to postpone it more than 2 months.
Anyway your treating physician will decide the best for you, having into consideration many things that unfortunately virtually can not be evaluated.
Wish you all the best and good luck!
P.S. Please close the answer if you do not have further questions.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
