What does semen analysis report indicate in a person with one undescended testis?

Hi Doctor Could you please analyses this report and tell me if its all ok. Semen Analysis Quantity: 2.5 cc Appearance: Greyish White Nature:Viscous Reaction:Alkaline Liquifaction: Satisfactory Sperm Count: 26.0 million/ml Motility-Active:70% Sluggish 10% Dead 20% Morphology : 1-2% abnormal sperms seen Other Cells: 2-3 pus cells/hpf This is the report of my cousin who has one undescended testis and other normal descended one. Could you please let me know if this report is ok or something needs to be done interms if diet food and health for improving the count.Please provide a detailed analysis of the components of what is normal and what needs to be done to correct if any.

To understand your report better lets compare normal values Of Semen Analysis with your report findings: Standard Tests Volume >2.0 ml. (your case 2.5ml) Sperm Concentration >20 million sperm/ml. (your case 26m/ml) Sperm Motility >50% with forward movement (your case 70%) Sperm Morphology >15% normal forms (your case >98%) You can see that your reports is almost normal. Man with 1 testis can give normal semen output, if it is working normally like in your case. Although your report is normal but following steps help in increasing semen volume and sperm health: -Avoid smoking and alcohol (if present). -Wear loose underwear. -Dont Sit in hot tubs – Your testicles hang outside your body because sperm like it cooler than 98.6°F. Body temperature and above can kill sperm. -Avoid heavy exercise -Do Take Nutritional Supplements: The following supplements have been recommended to enhance sperm production:Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc, Coenzyme Q-10, L–Carnitine, B-Complex, Folic Acid.
