Brief Answer: It may be due to homonal changes, cervicitis etc. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for writing to XXXXXXX You should wait for Pap smear report. Red cervix may be due to many reasons. It may be due to hormonal changes during pregnancy, infection, cancer etc. It should be related clinically. It is important to know history of discharge, pain, itching, burning sensation during urination, lower back pain etc. If it is pregnancy related changes then you don't need any active management. Infection during pregnancy need to be treated with antibiotics because infection may lead to abortion. Pap smear will also exclude cancer. Proper management depends upon history, clinical examination and Pap smear report. Get well soon. Hope i have answered your query. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX
