What Does Numbness On The Foot After Recovering From Severe Fractures Indicate?

Question: Hi there

I have recently recovered from a number of fractures to my left foot. I was told the injuries were quite bad and would most likely lead to early onset arthritis as a result. I have been out of my cast and orthopaedic boot now for around 2 months, however have recently started to get numbness at the bottom of my foot. I am also getting quite painful pins and needles in my foot and into my toes. Is this a normal part of the healing process or something I should be concerned about and be getting checked?

Hi,

I have read your query.

You shouldn't ignore all this and try to have medication which I am advisir youvat least for 7 days.

Have cap. rabiprazole empty stomach, cap.aceclofenac100mg+serratiopeptidase15mg thrice a day, cap pregabalin75mg+methylcobalamine750mcg at night.

Apply hot packs.

Avoid prolong standing, running.

Try to elevate limb while sitting and sleeping.

If after 7 days symptoms still persists, then go to orthopedic surgeon.
