Brief Answer:
Hi you may have thyphoid fever.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your test for parathyphoid is negative. Your test of thyphi H antigen is positive. you may have thyphoid fever. However it may be seen in vaccination or anamnestic reaction also. So rising titre is more important. You should go for repeat widal tube titre test. Drug of choice is ciprofloxacin. However it is a prescription based medicine so you should consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Complete the course of antibiotics and take rest.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.

Thanks Doctor.. How long will it take to recover if I take rest and consume medicine properly. Also my hemogram report shows slightly higher Lymphocytes.. what does it mean? Is this something related in typhoid infection? All other things are in normal range...

Lymphocytes

52.1

%

Normal Range -->20.00 - 40.00

RBC COUNT

4.8

millions/cu mm

Normal range --3.5 - 5.5

Comments : : RBC : are normocytic normochromic WBC : are normal in total number with increase in lymphocytes. PLATELETS: appear adequate in number. IMPRESSION:NORMOCYTIC NORMOCHROMIC BLOOD PICTURE WITH RELATIVE LYMPHOCYTOSIS.

Brief Answer:
It will take 8 to 10 days.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. If you take regular antibiotics and rest, you will recover within 8 to 10 days. Your lymphocytes count is high but no need to worry. It’s just due to your typhoid infection. Once it will get cured, your lymphocytes count will automatically come down to normal.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
