What Does My Urine Test Result Indicate?
Question: My urine results from a lab test showed glucose +2 and amorphous sediment: many
I did not fast before this test by accident. Could that be the cause? I ate a hamburger, fries, and dr pepper the night before and in the morning right before the test i ate a sausage and egg biscuit with a hash brown and large dr pepper. Im 26 years old. My blood tests were all normal including glucose.

You recently had a urine test where a significant amount of sugar was found in your urine. This urine glucose could be a result of drinking a large Dr. Pepper before the test. I would recommend repeating your test but not drink any Dr. Pepper prior. If your urine still shows glucose in your urine then I would move forward for possible diabetes. I would not worry at this time as I have seen that happen numerous times with my patients.
