I recently had an ultrasound and am unclear about the results. Just wondering if I will still be able to have children. I have uploaded the full report.

Brief Answer:
Conception possible, need some details.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your reports thoroughly.

First, in my opinion, you can still get pregnant.
You may need a more intensive monitoring during pregnancy but there is definitely a possibility of pregnancy.

Can you please mention what symptoms do you have?
Menstrual irregularities? pain symptoms?
Reason for getting an ultrasound done?
Earlier pregnancy?

Need these details to guide you further on treatment options.

Hope to hear from you soon..
Thanks.

That's good news!

I'm in a serious relationship and he wants children. I have never been pregnant before, but have many occasions where I should have gotten pregnant. I wanted the ultrasound to see make sure everything was ok.

My only "symptoms" would be heavier periods as I got older (last couple years) and cramping. I've always suffered from cramps though. There was a period a coupe years ago where there was some discomfort during sex. It is not something that I experienced long term and does not affect me now.

The main symptom in my opinion was just not having children already. Knowing I've had unprotected sex throughout the years and never once got pregnant.

Brief Answer:
need to investigate more.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Sorry for late reply.

As you told that you are keen to conceive.

Heavy menses and pain is because of adenomyosis.

In my opinion, you should go for testing like thyroid profile, serum prolactin, LH, FSH level, HSG, semen analysis for husband.

These testing will help to know the cause of infertility.

Accordingly you can take treatment.

Adenomyosis will not cause infertility.

Hope it helps.

Feel free to ask further.

Thanks

Thank you for the information.

Based on everything that you have seen do you think surgery would be necessary to conceive? Or could things be resolved by taking medications?

Brief Answer:
No surgical procedure needed for now.

Detailed Answer:
As you have no significant symptoms, there is no need of any surgical procedure for you at this time.

Even the medical management is only needed when there are significant symptoms.

I would suggest you to go for the tests which I mentioned earlier to determine the hormonal causes of infertility.

I will be happy to help you further for more doubts.

Regards.
