Brief Answer:
continue the same plan.

Detailed Answer:
Dear xxxxxxxxxx, hi and welcome to HCM! I am dr. Minal. you are a case of primary hypothyroidism, on treatment with Thyronorm 150 mcg. now well balanced. ie. Euthyroid. so in this case you must continue taking the same dose without interfering with it.
important thing to know is other than lab report , how are you? I mean how do you feel. if there are no symptoms , it is really wonderful, but in spite of normal thyroid report, if you are facing any symptoms, any problems related to health, we must attend to that as well.
regards!

Thanks for response. Most of the times, I feel good. But there is some concern as listed;

Its been few months, I think in start of August month I faced chest pain, anxiety and some heart palpitation kind of symptoms. I consulted to cardio physician, ECG and other tests were done. Every thing was normal in test. After August, I faced this kind of pain/feel 5-6 times. Every time, it last for 10 min XXXXXXX

I am not sure, if its related to hypothyroidism or some general chest or stress related issue.
Please advise.

Brief Answer:
iatrogenic hyperthyroidism is a possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Dear xxxxxxxxxxxx, if you look back, may be august was the time when you were on thyroxine 200mcg, August report suggested high FT4 and FT3. so this can explain your drug induced hyperthyroid state and may be this was responsible for your anxiety, palpitation and chest pain.

Yes, it could be the cause.
So I am continuing the same plan i.e. 150 mg thyronorm.

Any other specific thing that I need to take care of specially while food or liquid intake ?
Is there a way out that I can get rid of taking pills ?

Brief Answer:
yes, please continue the same.

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, please continue thyronorm 150 mcg. as of food is concerned, nothing is directly linked to thyroid. there are certain goitrogenic food like cabbage which you should avoid. iodized salt should be consumed , which anyways all salts are now as per govt. regulations.
no way out of pills. you have to be on thyroxine replacement all through. sorry for that.
