What Does My Chest X-ray Test Report Indicate?

Question: Age 67 (male): Chest X-Ray PA view report states: Tracheal air column is in mid line. Lungs show accentuation of markings. Both the hila are normal. Cardiac size is borderline. Both CP angles appear normal. Bony thorax appear intact.
History: one year back chest-X-Ray revealed COPD. Lincomycin was administered. After administration, symptoms of cough (with characteristic smell), slight fever subsided.
Present condition: Sometimes shortness of breathing and little relapse of characteristic smell- felt. Advice


No PFT done yet. Tomorrow or so I can try.

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, we should first see for severity of COPD at present.
So get done PFT (pulmonary function test) for this.
On the basis of severity, you will need inhaled treatment in the form of inhaled bronchodilator (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) (fluticasone or budesonide).
So please let me know
