Question: My name is XXXXXXX and im 23. I had my period 2 weeks ago and yesterday i started bleeding a little again.. should i be concerned?

Sometimes, some amount of spotting or bleeding is seen at the time of ovulation. This is self-resolving.

Apart from this, mid-cycle bleeding/spotting is also seen with hormone imbalance as breakthrough bleeding, during hormone contraception, when there are generalized or local infections, local causes like erosions, polyps etc. Stress and weight changes are other likely causes.

In the current scenario, if the spotting does not subside in a couple of days, you have to get further evaluation by a specialist. Further management can be planned accordingly.
