Question: I'm 27 weeks 3 days pregnant and my doctor measured my fudal height today and I'm measuring 31 weeks. She's having me get an ultrasound to check more accurately and check my amniotic fluid, etc. I'm so scared. it's this a major concern? I've been measuring a bit ahead the whole time. but not this much. I'm a worrier and this has me terrified.

Brief Answer:
This is not major concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I saw your question.

Following is my reply

1. Fundal height is a rough indicator of gestational age.

2. Increased height by 4 weeks is not a problem.

3. Increased height does not always mean increased amniotic fluid.

4. Please get ultrasound scan done and let me know the report so that I can advice further.
