Brief Answer:
Please do blood urea and creatinine for kidney

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) is present primarily in liver cells. In viral hepatitis and other forms of liver disease associated with hepatic necrosis, serum ALT is elevated even before the clinical signs and symptoms of the disease appear.

Reference values in adult females is 7-45 U/L with slight difference in values depending on the laboratory.

A level of 68 as in you is mildly elevated and not a cause of concern.

Elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) values are seen in parenchymal liver diseases characterized by a destruction of hepatocytes or liver cells. Values are typically at least ten times above the normal range.

A level of 68 as in you is mildly elevated and not a cause of concern. It does not indicate any possible liver disorder.

Kidney function is known by doing blood urea and serum creatinine levels. You can get this done to know if your kidney function is normal.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
