Question: Dear Doctor,
Attached are the reports of our maid who is having complaint of cough, cold, fever, vomiting and loss of appetite. We had taken her to a GP who had prescribed tablet Taxim - O. She was suspecting Jaundice or malaria. We went ahead and removed the test, the reports of which are attached. Please advise.Is she having Jaundice ?.

Get her Dengue tested.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.

No she doesn't have jaundice. However her total leukocyte counts and platelets are low.

This can happen in viral fever or dengue.
I would recommend you to give her Paracetamol only for fever and body pains.
Don't give her any other pain killers.

I would recommend you to get her Dengue tested and if it's negative, it would be probably due to viral infection only and should go away with 5 days.
However her platelet counts need monitoring.
