What Do Pain And Itching On The Penis Tip Indicate?
Question: I have rawness around the tip of the penis and some itching. I feels like when I had a yeast infection. It is reoccurring over time. I could cure the condtion by using monostat topically

Use of soap here itself can trigger the itching and discomfort. Use hypoallergenic hygiene gels like biomousse gels to wash the genitals with it and rinse it like a shampoo. Apart from it maintain good hygiene, good coital habits and toilet habits. Make sure the foreskin is retracted as buildup of smegma can cause recurrent genital and penile infections. Low dose hydrocortisone gel with monistat will help. Talk to a urologist and let them have a look and provide other possible management options. Good hygiene, good coital habits, keeping groin hair and sweat free, wear loose undergarments and see if it helps.
