Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I can help you.
However, I need to know if you have any symptom other than fever, I would like to know.
Report says that you have an infection, but does not say which infection.
I will therefore need to know which other symptom you have.
Also, please inform on which day of fever were the report of dengue and malaria tested, and did you have fever during sample collection?
Awaiting your response.
Best of luck,
Dr Mittal

Thanks Doctor.
I am having mild headache and fever today. sometimes I feel giddiness and little weak. no other symptoms. dengue and malaria tests were performed yesterday which was 6th day of the fever. I had no fever at the time when blood samples were collected. I have also lost 6-7kgs of weight in last 18-20 months but I have controlled my eating habits as well. my weight is 77kg and height is 5ft 10 inches. I had consipation issues in the past but now I drink plenty of water in morning and my stools are always soft.
If you want to know an thing specific with regards to fever do let me know.

that's all I can think of. Please advice

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for your response.
I think it would be better to test for urine routine and culture, and blood culture.
Also, repeat a TLC in 2-3 days.
Testing of Typhii Dot and Widal is also needed.
Please let e know the reports.
Best of luck

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In case there doctor has confirmed dengue, I would suggest that you try Tab Folate 5 mg once daily .
Papaya leaf extract has been noted to help with the platelet count.
Usually, it should be 5 to 7 days before platelets increase.
Take plenty of fluids and juices.
Avoid injuries during this period.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal
