Question: hello my white count is 13.8 and my lymphocites and neutrophils are elevated. I had a cold about a month ago that lingered for some time. Could that have caused the elevated numbers?

Your findings suggests mildly raised WBC count associated with elevated neutrophil and lymphocyte count.
It may be related to cold from which you are suffering.
Generally these values are elevated in infection.
Cold is generally due to virus but it is often associated with superadded infection.
You may need antibiotics for 5-7 days.

You need proper clinical evaluation.You may also need chest X-ray and throat examination.
