Brief Answer:
could be due to cold

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing to us.

Infants upto a year breathe only through the nose.
Nose is a frequent site of block, resulting in difficulty in breathing.
Nasivion S is absolutely safe and can be given any number of times for nose block.
Vomiting could be related to cold. Reasons maybe
1. The same virus causing cold could also cause gastritis.
2. Struggling to breathe as a result of nasal block which increases abdomen pressure and vomiting.
3. Mild reflux which is very common in this age could be worsened by viral illness.

Wait and see if vomiting settles.
Try burping after every feed.
Use Nasivion S before feeding so that he takes feed well.
If vomiting persists do consult your pediatrician.
He may prescribe Domperidone drops if necessary

Regards

Dr Arun
