Brief Answer:
Most probably recovering phase of infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. There is high probability that this is due to recovery of children from chickenpox and nothing to worry about as there is no other significant finding. If you observe any of the following signs then you need visit hospital and get an appointment for a general surgeon who might advise ultrasound of the swelling for workup.

- Swelling persists after child becomes healthy.
- You notice increase is size of the swelling.
- Swelling becomes hard & painful.
- Overlying skin color of the swelling changes.

chickenpox is a viral infection and takes time to resolve itself. Only symptomatic treatment is given which you already are giving to your children. Make sure they remain well hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
