What Causes Thick Vaginal Discharge During Defecation?

Question: I have a thick mucous like vaginal discharge during bowl movement it has no odor and there is no itching but very large amount of discharge I'm wondering if that is normal or not ? Ps i have a retroverted uterus

I can understand your concern here.

Vaginal discharge occurs due to the normal cleaning process of the vagina.

It can change its consistency and amount during different stages of the menstrual cycle.

As in your case it is not associated with itching and odor, and then it can be most probably a normal physiological variation.

Amount can increase during ovulation and when you are sexually stimulated.

Hence please do not take stress and if it is associated with itching and odor, you should consult a gynecologist and get yourself examined.
