default
Posted on Fri, 15 Jul 2016
Question: I believe I have tendinitis, mostly in my left wrist and elbow, it radiates to my armpit. 3 - 200mg advil 4 times a day does little. But it seems to ease off mid day, returns around 9PM and is nearly impossible to sleep good parts of the night.
Cause unknown. had Dupitrins Desease surgery 5/17 but they insist it is unrelated.

Hello,
I have studied your case. You have mentioned tendinitis in wrist and elbow. It can be due to nerve compression in neck or muscle inflammation. Before I advised you anything I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1.What are your symptoms? Pain or tingling numbness ?
2.Do you have Diabetes or thyroid problem?
3. Do you have pain all time or only when you are doing some work?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.

2. I do not have Diabetes or thyroid problems, basically very health for my age.
3. Pain is only a 3 mid day, but mid evening to mid morning it is much more like 6 - 7. It really intensifies when I lay down in bed. Only get 4-5 hours sleep the last few nights.
1. Not tingly, it is an achy pain in my wrist, elbow up to my arm pit. My occupational therapist feels it is nerve or tendinitis. He has tried to help with stretches buy little help.
I have call in to my dupitrens surgeon and will be seeing him or an urgent care today.
