Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/70 - took Oxycodone for pain and sleep - not taking it anymore - have swollen lymph nodes in lower torso at the hip - wants to know when will the swelling go down - visited a Doctor - CBC done
Please give some details for me to assist you better:
Since when have the lumps developed?
Since when have you stopped Oxycodone?
Where exactly are the swellings, please elaborate as the lymph nodes are present only at the groin that is inguinal region.
Are the swellings XXXXXXX or fixed?
Any pain or tenderness?
Is the skin above normal or red and hot?
Any other details please.
You may post the actual photographs if possible as it helps sometimes for on-the-spot diagnosis.
What was the opinion of your Doctor , since you have mentioned that you have visited a Doctor.
Oxycodone is not usually known to give any sort of swelling and not particularly the lymph node enlargement. Hence want the more details.

Awaiting for your details.
With Regards.

I was in florida until April 1. I quit taking Oxycodone shortly thereafter. I was having
stomach problems Gas, growling and bloating and constipation. I used enima and stool softener and it corrected the problem. I am not experiencing and discomfort, but happened to feel down in area of where swelliing is and noticed something I have never noticed before. I have on right and left side at top of pubic area near crease where leg/hip starts. There is not redness and the nodes are not attached to anything that I can feel. They are about the size of a small peanut with shell. LOL They seem to have gone down in size already. I may have had these all my life, I don't know.

Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Read and understood the history.
So it seems that the lymph nodes are there as per the location of the swelling you have noted.
These are inguinal lymph nodes and the cause can be an infection in the area of drainage.
You may please get the ultrasound and FNAC that is fine needle aspiration cytology done and get the treatment as per the reports if required.
It is good that you have stopped Oxycodone.
If diagnosed and treated properly the lymph nodes/ swellings may not persist all your life.

I hope this answer helps you.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

With Regards.
