The swelling in hands and feet can be due to a renal or cardiac cause or increased salt intake or laxative abuse. The exact cause needs to be determined after a few blood tests.
The pain in knees is likely to be due to osteoarthritic changes. Taking mild pain killers, calcium supplements and regular physical therapy will help.
